The Awesomeness Crew
Chapter 1: Meet The Awesomeness Crew
Today is my first day as manager for The Awesomeness Crew. I can't wait to meet the band!
I decided that the perfect meeting place will be the band room at the music school.
Me: Hello?
A person knocks on the door.
Max: Hello. Who are you?
Me: I'm the manager.
Max: For The Awesomeness Crew?
Me: Yes.
Max: Awesome! My name is Max. What's your name?
Me: My name is Mikaela.
Max: Nice to meet you.
Me: Nice to meet you too.
Max: Where are the rest of the band members?
Me: They'll be here.
Max: I can't wait.
Somebody knocks on the door.
Me: I'll get it!
Max: This must be a band member.
I open the door.
Rick: Hello!
Rick: Hello. What's your name?
Rick: Rick.
Rick: Nice to meet you Mikaela. My name is Rick.
Max: Nice to meet you Mikaela.
Me: Thank you.
Edgar: Nice to meet you Mikaela. My name is Edgar.
Max: Are you excited about meeting the rest of the band?
Edgar: I can't wait! I love meeting new people!
Somebody knocks on the door again.
Me: This must be a band member.
Eddie: Hello.
Me: Hello. What's your name?
Eddie: Eddie.
Me: Nice to meet you Eddie.
Eddie: Nice to meet you too.
A band member knocks on the door.
Max: Who is going to get the door?
Eddie: I will.
Ian: Hello everyone!
Edgar: Hello. What's your name?
Ian: Ian. What's your name?
Edgar: Edgar.
Ian: Nice to meet you.
Me: It's 12:00 noon. Do you want to get lunch?
Max: Sure! I'm hungry.
Me: What do you want?
Edgar: Pizza.
Me: What do you want on your pizza?
Edgar: It doesn't matter.
Eddie: Chicken and rice.
Ian: Grilled cheese
Max: Steak.
Me: OK.
Later...
Me: The food's here.
Max: Yum! I'm starving!
Eddie: The grilled cheese looks delicious.
Ian: The chicken looks delicious.
Me: Enjoy!
Another band member knocks on the door.
Me: I'll get it.
Kelly: Hello!
Eddie: Hello. Do you want some lunch?
Kelly: Sure.
Edgar: Here's a slice of pizza.
Kelly: Thank you. By the way, what's your name?
Edgar: Edgar.
Kelly: Nice to meet you Edgar.
Edgar: Nice to meet you too.
Another band member knocks on the door.
Kelly: I'll get it.
Timmy: Hello!
Kelly: Hello. My name is Kelly. What's your name?
Timmy: Timmy.
Kelly: Nice to meet you Timmy.
Timmy: I'm hungry. Is there any food?
Edgar: Yes. There's pizza.
Timmy: What kind of pizza?
Edgar: Cheese and pepperoni.
Timmy: I'll take a slice of pepperoni pizza.
Edgar: Here you go.
Timmy: Thank you.
Another band member knocks on the door.
Max: I'll get it.
Paul: Hello.
Max: Hello. What's your name?
Paul: Paul.
Max: Hello Paul. My name is Max.
Paul: Nice to meet you.
Max: Nice to meet you too.
Another band member knocks on the door.
Paul: I'll get it.
Tommy: Hello everyone.
Eddie: Hello. My name is Eddie. What's your name?
Tommy: Tommy.
Eddie: Nice to meet you Tommy. Would you like some chicken?
Tommy: Sure.
Eddie: Here you go.
Tommy: Thank you.
Me: There's one more band member coming.
Ian: Who is it?
Me: I can't tell you.
Eddie: Why can't you tell us?
Me: Because it's a surprise.
Max: I can't wait.
Kelly: I can't wait to find out who it is.
Edgar: I'm so excited to find out who the last band member is!
Tommy: I'm really excited.

Chapter 2: The Last Band Member Arrives
The band members were done with lunch and all of the band members were excited about the last band member. The band members went to the door and waited for the last band member to arrive.
Edgar: Is she here yet?
Eddie: How do you know the band member is a she?
Edgar: Because I asked our manager.
Tommy: Where's our manager?
Ian: She went to get lunch.
Kelly: Who wants to go to the band room with me?
Ian: I will.
Max: We should all go to the band room.
Edgar: But I want to wait for the last band member.
Max: OK.
I come back from lunch and go right to the band room.
Paul: I'm really excited.
Eddie: There's our manager.
Kelly: When is the last band member coming?
Me: She's not coming until dinner.
Edgar: Bummer.
Eddie: What a shame.
Ian: We have to wait until dinner?
Me: Yes.
Max: What are we going to do?
Me: Let's go to the band room.
I open the band room door.
Me: Did everybody bring their instruments?
Edgar: I did.
Max: I brought mine.
Me: Great!
A few hours later...
Kelly: I'm hungry.
Max: Me too.
Me: It's time for dinner!
Tommy: Are we going to sleep here?
Me: Yes.
Me: I have sleeping bags for everyone.
Eddie: Why do we have to sleep here? Why can't we go back home?
Me: Because we will be going on tour soon.
Edgar: But we just started.
Me: I know. We are going to wait a couple of weeks.
Me: What does everyone want for dinner?
Max: I'll have Burger King.
Edgar: I'll have McDonald's.
Kelly: I'll have Wendy's.
Eddie: I'll have Taco Bell.
Me: OK. I'll be right back.
Max: Does anyone have to go to the bathroom?
Eddie: I do.
Max: We should all go to the bathroom.
Ian: Great idea.
Everybody comes back from the bathroom.
Max: That felt good.
Kelly: It did feel good.
Ian: It always feels good when you go to the bathroom.
Tommy: I wonder if our food is here.
Paul: I'm starving.
Edgar: Me too.
The band members go back to the band room.
Edgar: Our food's here!
Max: Let's eat!
Me: Hey everyone.
Max: Hey.
Eddie: What's up?
Me: The food's here.
Paul: Awesome! Thank you!
Me: You're welcome.
The last band member knocks on the door.
Edgar: The last band member is here!
Tommy: It's about time!
Eddie: Finally!
Ian: She's here!
Max: Is everyone excited?
Kelly: I am!
Paul: I'm wicked excited!
Ian: Me too!
I walk in with the last band member and the band members start eating.
I hold Cece's hand.
Me: This is Cece Worrall.
Me: She's very tired and she had a long day.
Me: You can talk to her and introduce yourself tomorrow.
Later...
Edgar: I'm tired.
Max: Me too.
Ian: What a day!
Me: Time for bed everyone.
Me: Get your sleeping bags and go to sleep.

Chapter 3: Breakfast
Me: It's time to get up.
Ian: What time is it?
Me: 7:00 AM.
Eddie: But I want to go back to bed.
Me: You can go back to bed later.
Max: What are we going to have for breakfast?
Me: I'm going to make toast and eggs.
Kelly: Can I have an omelette?
Me: Sure.
Paul: Can I have toast?
Me: Sure.
Edgar: What about sausage?
Me: I didn't bring sausage.
Edgar: Did you bring hashbrowns?
Me: I did.
Tommy: I hope you have waffles.
Me: I have waffles.
Rick: Where's the cereal?
Me: It's over there.
Eddie: Somebody is still sleeping.
Me: I know.
Tommy: We should wake her up.
Kelly: We should let her sleep.
Ian: She shouldn't skip breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Cece Worrall wakes up.
Max: She's up.
Edgar: I hope she's ready for breakfast.
Me: Time to eat!
Paul: I'm really hungry.
Ian: I can't wait to try the toast.
Eddie: I can't wait to have some eggs.
Me: The eggs are ready.
Max: This looks delicious.
Paul: The waffles are ready.
Edgar: Awesome!
Everybody starts eating.
Me: How are the waffles?
Ian: Delicious!
Rick: The eggs are delicious.
Me: I'm glad you like them.
Me: Who wants some hashbrowns?
Tommy: I do!
Rick: I'll have some hashbrowns as well.
Me: Great! Here you go.
Rick: Thanks!
Me: No problem!
Everyone is done eating breakfast.
Eddie: Now can we go back to bed?
Me: Yes. You can go back to bed.

Chapter 4: Meet Cece Worrall
Me: Okay everyone. All of you are going to meet Cece Worrall.
Edgar: Awesome!
Max: I can't wait.
Me: I know everyone is excited.
Me: Everyone is going to listen to Cece. She is going to talk.
Me: Are you ready Cece?
Cece: Yes.
Cece: My name is Cece Worrall. I am going to be playing the clarinet and the flute.
Cece: I will also be singing.
Max: But I thought I was the lead singer.
Me: Cece can be the lead singer as well.
Cece: I am really excited to be part of The Awesomeness Crew.
Cece: I can't wait to meet all of you.
Me: Everyone is excited about meeting you.
Cece: I'm excited too.
Me: Did you bring both of your instruments?
Cece: Yes.
Me: Awesome!
Me: Does anyone have any questions?
Eddie: Will you be playing any other instruments?
Cece: Yes. I will be playing percussion.
Edgar: Sweet!
Me: Everyone is going to tell Cece what instruments they play.
Max: Great idea!
Everyone talks to Cece.
Me: Everyone take a break and relax.

Chapter 5: Touring (Part 1)
Me: We are going to start touring.
Cece Worrall: When?
Me: Tomorrow.
Cece Worrall: Tomorrow? Where are we going to sleep?
Me: The tour bus is outside.
Me: Also, there has been a change in lead vocalists.
Max: I'm not going to be the lead singer anymore?
Me: No. Cece Worrall is going to be the new lead singer.
Max: That's not fair! I thought I was going to be the lead singer!
Me: You are going to be a backup vocalist.
Paul: Am I still going to be a backup vocalist?
Me: No. You will be the pianist instead.
Me: Let's go in the tour bus.
Eddie: Where are our instruments?
Me: In the tour bus.
Everybody goes in the tour bus.
Ian: What are we going to do for songs?
Me: Cover songs.
Cece Worrall: Can I have a solo?
Me: Sure. In fact, you have a solo.
Cece Worrall: Which song?
Me: Let me see.
Me: Jackie Blue.
Cece Worrall: Great!
Paul: This is going to be so much fun.
Me: However, not all of you will be on stage.
Tommy: What do you mean?
Me: Only certain band members will be on stage.
Edgar: Do I get a solo?
Me: Yes.
Edgar: Sweet! Thanks!

Chapter 6: Touring (Part 2)
Me: Wake up everyone!
Max: I'm so tired.
Ian: I went to bed late last night.
Max: Me too.
Me: You should've gone to bed earlier.
Eddie: It's important to go to bed earlier so you can get more sleep.
Me: We have a gig to do!
Kelly: What time is it?
Me: 5:00 AM.
Tommy: Why so early?
Me: Because it's going to be a long ride.
Me: Everybody get your things! We are hitting the road!
All of the band members get on the bus.
Cece Worrall: I went to bed early.
Paul: What a surprise. She went to bed early and the rest of us went to bed late.
Edgar: Go figure.
Rick: Why do we have to carry our instruments?
Me: Because I don't want to carry all of them.
Max: I'm going to sleep on the tour bus.
Tommy: Me too.
Ian: Everybody should sleep on the tour bus.
Me: Not everyone is tired.
Everybody gets on the bus.
Edgar: Look! An HDTV!
Kelly: Sweet! A mini fridge!
Rick: Awesome! Air conditioning!
Bus Driver: Is everyone all set?
Me: Yes.
Bus Driver: Okay. Let's go.
The tour bus starts moving.
Ian and Eddie play chess.
Kelly and Tommy play checkers.
Cece Worrall: Can I listen to music?
Me: Sure. How about classical?
Cece Worrall: Awesome! Thank you!
Paul: Where is our first gig?
Me: A coffee shop.
Max: I hope it has breakfast.
Me: It does. We are going to eat first.
Eddie: I'm hungry.
Edgar: Me too.
Later...
Me: This is it!
Cece Worrall: Is this the coffee shop?
Me: Yes.
Everybody grabs their instruments.
Owner: Hello! Welcome to the Cool Cats Coffee Shop!
Owner: Are you The Awesomeness Crew?
Me: I'm their manager.
Owner: Great! When are you going to perform?
Me: After we eat.
Owner: Awesome! What would you like to eat?
Me: I'll have some hashbrowns.
Owner: And what would you like for a drink?
Me: Milk.
Owner: White or Chocolate?
Me: White.
Everybody sits down.
Me: Did everyone order?
The band members nod.
Later...
Me: Is everyone done with their food?
Everyone nods.
Me: Okay. Let's go!
Me: It's time to perform!

Chapter 7: The Performance
Me: Okay. What style of music should our band be?
Cece Worrall: Our band should be acoustic.
Me: Okay. Great idea Cece.
Me: You ready Cece?
Cece Worrall: For what?
Me: Your clarinet solo!
Cece Worrall: I have to put my clarinet together first.
Me: That's fine.
I talk to the other band members while Cece puts together her clarinet.
Me: Edgar, your keyboard solo is next.
Edgar: Why aren't we performing together as a band?
Me: Because it's our first gig. We are going to perform together as a band when we have our second gig.
Edgar: Okay.
Me: Cece!
Cece Worrall: Yes?
Me: Are you done putting together your clarinet?
Cece Worrall: Yes.
Me: Great! Go up there and shine!
Cece Worrall: Okay. I will.
Me: Max, would you like to sing on Jackie Blue?
Max: Sure.

Chapter 8: A Band Member Gets Sick
Me: Great job everyone!
Edgar: Does anyone have the whole show?
Me: I recorded it.
Eddie: Great! I can't wait to see it!
Cece Worrall: I don't feel so good.
Kelly: Uh oh.
Ian: This isn't going to be good.
Cece Worrall: I have to go to the bathroom.
The sound of Cece puking is heard.
Max: Did I just hear somebody puking?
Paul: Yes. A band member is sick.
Eddie: That's a shame.
Max: What are we going to do?
Me: We are going to go on hiatus.
Ian: We can't go on hiatus!
Edgar: We have to.
Ian: Why?
Me: Because Cece is sick.
Cece: I'm going to take a nap. I'm not feeling well.
Max: What are we going to do?
Me: The rest of you can go home.
Eddie: We can finally go home!
Edgar: Yes!
Me: I'll see the rest of you tomorrow.
Max: I could use some rest.

Chapter 9: Eddie Hates Ian
The Awesomeness Crew is back after a long hiatus. However, Eddie isn't happy.
Ian: What's wrong?
Eddie: Don't talk to me right now.
Ian: You can talk to me about it.
Eddie: I hate you.
Ian Anderson: What did you just say to me?
Eddie: I hate you.
Ian slams the door.
Me: What's going on? Where's Ian?
Eddie: Don't talk to me.
Me: You can talk to me.
Eddie: I told Ian that I hated him.
Me: Why did you say that?
Eddie: I don't know.
Eddie starts to cry.
Me: It's OK.
Eddie: It's not OK.
Me: Tell me what happened.
Eddie: Ian kept complaining that he didn't have enough flute solos.
Eddie: I told him to stop complaining and he wouldn't stop.
Me: What did you do?
Eddie: I left.
Me: Why?
Eddie: Because he wouldn't stop complaining.
Me: Are you still mad about it?
Eddie: Yes.
Me: Everything is going to be okay.
Eddie: I've had enough of Ian.
Me: I'm going to talk to Ian.
Eddie: Don't talk to him.
Me: Why?
Eddie: Because he might still be mad.
Me: He's still mad.
Eddie: How do you know?
Me: Because he went to the other room.
Eddie: Too bad. He's coming back to the band room.
Ian comes back to the band room.
Eddie starts to get angry.
Me: Calm down.
Eddie: No. I won't calm down.
Me: You should go to bed.
Eddie: Why?
Me: Because you aren't in a good mood. You will feel better tomorrow.
Eddie: Fine.
Ian: I'm going to bed as well.
Me: Where are you going to sleep?
Ian: On the tour bus.
Me: Okay everyone. I'm going home.
Eddie: See you tomorrow.
Me: Go to sleep everyone.

Chapter 10: Band Members Quit And A Band Member Gets Sick
Eddie: Where's Ian, Paul, and Max?
Me: They left.
Eddie: They left the band?
Me: Yes.
Eddie: I'm so glad Ian left.
Me: We have another gig.
Eddie: Where?
Me: At a music school. This time, it's going to be acoustic.
Eddie: Are all of the band members going to perform?
Me: No. It's going to be you, Cece, Edgar, and Kelly.
Eddie: Let's practice.
Me: Great idea!
Cece wakes up.
Cece Worrall: Good morning!
Me: Good morning Cece!
Cece Worrall: I don't feel good.
Me: Why?
Cece Worrall: I have a sore throat and I am losing my voice.
Me: Oh no.
Cece Worrall: Do we have another gig?
Me: Yes.
Cece Worrall: I can't sing.
Me: How about you just stick to clarinet?
Cece Worrall: That's fine.
Me: I'll take over the singing.
Eddie: But you're the manager!
Me: I have a great singing voice.
Me: How about we do the gig here instead of the music school?
Cece Worrall: Great idea.
Me: We can invite some little kids from the music school and they can watch and listen to the band play.
The next day...
Me: Is everyone ready to perform?
Cece Worrall: Yes.
Little kids start coming in.
Little Boy: You sound sick.
Cece Worrall: I am sick.
Little Girl: What's wrong with your voice?
Cece Worrall: I have laryngitis.
Little Girl: What's laryngitis?
Cece Worrall: It's when you lose your voice and your voice gets hoarse.
Little Boy: What's wrong with you?
Cece Worrall: I'm not feeling well.
Little Boy: What's wrong?
Cece Worrall: I have a sore throat.
Little Boy: What's that?
Cece Worrall: It's when your throat gets really scratchy.
Little Girl: You should take medicine.
Little Boy: And get some rest.
Cece Worrall: I have to perform now. I'll talk to you two after I am done.

Chapter 11: After The Performance
Teacher: You did a great job.
Cece Worrall: Thank you so much.
Teacher: The kids loved it.
Cece Worrall: I'm glad.
Teacher: I have to go. Two of my students are going to stay here with you. Is that okay?
Cece Worrall: That's fine.
Me: I'll drop them off.
Teacher: Thank you. I really appreciate it.
Me: No problem.
Eddie: You did a great job singing.
Me: Thank you.
Eddie: No problem.
Eddie: The rest of us are going home.
Me: Me and Cece are staying here.
Eddie: What time is it?
Me: It's almost time for lunch.
Teacher: Have a great day! Take good care of my little angel and my little cherub for me.
Me: Okay. I will.

Me: I made sandwiches!
Little Boy: What kind of sandwiches?
Me: Peanut Butter and Jelly.
Little Girl: Thank you!
Me: You're welcome.
Cece Worrall knocks on the door
Little Boy: I just heard the door knock.
Little Girl: You better get it.
Me: You two stay here and eat your lunch.
Later...
Me: Are you two done with your lunch?
Little Boy and Little Girl: Yes.
Me: You two drink your milk.
Cece Worrall comes in.
Cece Worrall: Are you two ready to rock?
Little Boy and Little Girl: Yeah!

Chapter 13: The Concert
Cece Worrall: I am going to perform a concert.
Little Girl: What's a concert?
Cece Worrall: A concert is where you perform in front of a lot of people.
Little Boy: What's that black thing?
Cece Worrall: It's a clarinet.
Little Girl: What's a clarinet?
Cece Worrall: It's a woodwind instrument.
Little Boy: What songs can you play?
Cece Worrall: I can play a lot of songs.
Little Boy: Can you play a song?
Cece Worrall: Sure.
Cece Worrall plays Flight of the Bumblebee on her clarinet.
Cece Worrall: I am now going to demonstrate high and low notes.
Cece Worrall plays Beethoven's 5th Symphony on her clarinet
Cece Worrall: That was an example of high notes.
Cece Worrall: I am now going to demonstrate low notes.
Cece Worrall plays the Imperial March from Star Wars on her clarinet
Me: That was lovely.
Cece Worrall: Thank you.
Me: The kids were smiling the whole time.
Cece Worrall: I'm going to play some more songs later.
